Benvenuti alla Villa Le Balze

I made it the Villa even though I realized upon arrival in Zurich I was without my ATM card. I did, however, have a calling card and after struggling with the thousand different numbers on that was able to call home at 4am to let my parents know I had at least made it halfway. Having completely forgotten all Italian I was stoked that my cab driver never even attempted to speak English with me. He even rounded the fare down to 30 euro. Grazie Mile. I had finally arrived at the Villa and it is nothing I could have ever imagined it to be. I mean I had seen pictures before so I doubt mine will do it anymore justice but really it is almost indescribable. I can't get over the fact that people actually live here. Everything is antique, paneled, and painted. Every room has a chandelier. Our dining room is like eating at Hogwarts; everyone is split between four tables and there is a huge fire place. I'll come back to food later. It needs its own post. The heat is not very bad here and there is constantly a nice breeze even inside the Villa. Also no matter where you are you can see the entire city of Florence beneath you. The town of Fiesole is cute and the people are friendly. Oh well thats all I can think of for now so I'll just post my pictures. Hopefully they can explain better than I can.
